More Work Done

The good final windshield is painted and one the car, and fitted with the proper hardware. It was quite a fight to get the roof stretched out and on the car. I left it on the car and out in the sun all day hoping it would stretch out a bit. I also did some touch up paint with what was left in the can, which led to my final decision of gloss white Tremclad for paint. It has a reasonably shine to it, it's cheap and I can always buy more.
WARNING: The Masking tape was on the windshield for at least a year and is being a pain to remove. There is still amounts on it on the windshield.

The door glass is installed properly with inner and outer waist seals. I can see why companies sell a clip hook tool. I lust made my own from some extra body steel. Worked like a charm.

The make shift door panels are in for now. They where from the second car and have some extra holes in them and just don't look great, I will be replacing them with some particle board ones covered in black vinyl over the summer.

This video summarizes why I love this particular spitfire and why I couldn't sell her.

When I first got the top on and windows up I was amazed at the change in sound of the car. Here is a quick video tour I shot for a friend.
