I can't seem to find a reasonably priced electric fan at any of the junkyards so the rad is back how it was mounted before and an alloy fan has replaced the heavy steel one. The car was getting pretty hot at stop lights without a fan. The oil cooler is mounted in front of the rad using some modified horn mounts for the time being. The nice aluminum rad mount is safety resting on the top shelf awaiting a golf rad and fan. sigh

Exhausted
The exhaust began leaking at the header again, damn coupler kept sliding off and has now been over tightened causing a ripple on the clamp. Couple and "Z" portion coming off the header have been removed an a piece of flex pipe has been put in. I didn't want to go this road as the flex pipe looks dodgy. The rest of the exhaust to the tip is mounted nearly rigid on short, stiff hangers to stop any knocking or rattling. I have decided I hate exhausts and am going to invest in a whole system header to tip when the funds are there to get rid of any fiddling and all the nonsense I have gone through with this setup. I should have bought one long ago as I'm probably invest that much in this Frankenstein system.
