I was required by Moss to purchase tappets along with my cam otherwise the camshaft warranty would not be honoured. So in having to purchase them anyway I opted for the lightened tuftrided ones since I might end up dishing out for them anyway at a later date. The tappets have a coating on them from the tuftrided process which much be scrubbed off the tappets before they can be fitted. Even after this they are a tight fit in the block. The quality seems okay for now with the exception of the top edge which looks as though it was finished with a course file.
