Picked up the head and conversion gasket sets today on my way back to Oshawa. I have begun to re-assemble the engine with all my focus on keeping everything incredibly clean. I'm still waiting on the thrust washers to for the back end.
I cc'd all of the combustion chambers and found them to be 31cc which would give a compression ratio of 9.75:1 which was exactly as I calculated. New cam might need more though. I may go to 10 or 10.3:1 which would be the uppermost limit with a late intake closing. Without that the dynamic would still be far to high and it wouldn't make the most of pump gas.
