Tonight I decided that I needed to see how she started in the cold, gave the battery a quick charge, pumped the fuel pump a couple times and BAM she started right up. I could ask for a better running engine. I have decided that I can't and won't sell her for the time being UNLESS I come across a GT6 with a good drive train. So for those who watch my blog expect it to start back up again with more regular posts.

About that time
Well after being far to stressed out about school I decided I would come home for a weekend to hang out with old friends and putter on the car. Stuff to relax and cheer myself up. Last night I was having trouble sleeping so I went out and starting sorting through parts and low and behold I found a master rebuild kit. So out came the master for a rebuild, I was correct, the rubber cut that allowed oil to flow in was damaged. Quick swap, cleaned it all up and away we go another thing crossed off the list. Now all that needs to be done is the touch up paint on the exterior and to sort out some kind of interior. One of the vertical posts on the drivers seat has broken off so I need to swap out my frames for my spares. Oh it's nice to be sitting on a pile of parts. The diff also seems to have a slow leak so I will swap in the mk3, while I rebuild the one that's in it.
