New Workshop

My makeshift workbench made from a spair table top I found in the shed. Used some scrap 2 x 4's to build a pair of legs for it. Simple and CHEAP.
Another view with the engine to be build center stage.
Now for the serious stuff. I was going to just seal up the hole for the crank case vent in the intake, but when i was packing up stuff for the move I came across this fitting which i hoped would line of perfectly, or at least be better then the 90 elbow that was there before. Turns out they don't line up perfectly. Now the debate is whether or not to modifie the rocker cover. It would be easy enough to do, and I have the proper un vented cap for the cover too! I guess I'll make some posts and see what turns up.
Also rather then epoxy over the hole I found a mk1 intake which doesn't even have the crankcase vent hole drilled in it! This is a photo before cleaning. I also have brand new gaskets for this. From the article posted on Sideways Tech Forum it says that this manifold is not recomended because of the possible air leaks associated with it's 3 piece design. It is also not heated, and in the same article it says to bypass the intake manifold heater. More Questions, now the search for some answers.
