The Car makes it to Dundas

Loading.......Loaded...
...Leaving

My uncle and I headed to Kitchener to pick up the car and move it to his Shop in Dundas today. Everything went smooth. The guy gave me a ton of extra stuff including an FD 1300 motor! AND a set of pacesetter headers. I know they are a 4-1 and not the 4-2-1 style I was looking for but free is free! The car should make the long trip to North Bay in a few weeks. I can't wait to get it into the shop!!!! Picked up an engine stand for the spare motor. I'll probably get that all cleaned up before I get moving on anything else. I also have all the details about the FD motor. Work done to it is as follows:
  • Valves Machined-8
  • Valve seats machined-8
  • Head Resurfaced
  • Cylinders Bored 020
  • New Cam bearings
  • Crankshaft Polished STD
  • New Pistons
Kinda scary as I just checked the date on the bill--> Aug 3 1984
So now the questions is, should I open'r up and have a look see how much of it is still running true?

Special Thanks to my Uncle Bob for helping me out with transportation. The help was very appreciated!
